Can happen any time: You can actually get pregnant during any time of your cycle, but the chance is highest during/around time of ovulation (which, unfortunate, is very difficult to tell exactly when). The chance becomes less and less as you get older--being at 46 is less than at age 26. So, if you don't want pregnancy, protection is advised. Check a hpt when in doubt. Consult doc. Good luck.

Definitely : Sperm can live in the female genital tract for up to a week, so 6 days before ovulation is within that time. Therefore, making pregnancy a possibility.
