Wear brace & see MD: If you are not wearing your wrist brace, you should wear your wrist brace at nights. If you are wearing the brace and the symptoms are still worse, please see your physician to discuss surgical therapy of your carpal tunnel. More than 80% of people who have surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome are happy they had surgery and have substantially improved symptoms. Good luck.

See a hand surgeon: Carpal tunnel syndrome (cts) is a progressive disorder and worsening pain is not uncommon. See a board certified orthopaedic hand surgeon for evaluation and treatment. Your symptoms may resolve with oral/injectable steroids, splints and/or therapy. You may need a surgical carpal tunnel release for complete resolution of symptoms.
