Not typical: For most women, ovulation is mid-cycle (e.g. Day 13/14). Try one of those otc (over the counter) ovulation kits to test our observation/theory.

No: Ovulation usually occurs about 2 weeks after the start of your period so unless the period is very long, it is unusual to ovulate that soon.
