Hypermobility: Some people are flexible and thus more play in the joints. This especially occurs in hypermobile people, who have hyperflexibility and thus able to pop joints, fingers, knees, hips etc. Sometimes hypermobility actually is an advantage. Paganini had a flexible hand and this was felt to make him a better musician. Sometimes athletes who are hypermobile have a greater risk of injury.
