Need appropriate tx: Dry eye syndrome as you describe is a complex problem of the surface of the eye. It has several components with differing treatments. Please seek an exam with your eye doctor for the correct management of your problem. Good luck...

Dry eye: Many patients have dry eye when wearing contact lenses. If artificial tears do not control your symptoms, you may want to consider a trial of Restasis or punctal plugs (which increase your tear film). You should see your eye doctor to see if these options will help you.
