Lining breaking down: the lining of your uterus starts to break down and actually you may be bleeding a little, but not enought to make it to your pad. I will often examine a woman and have to clean the cervix as there is bleeding, but she wil say she hasn't seen any blood yet. Ibuprofen etc can help.
