NSAID's: Ibuprofen (motrin) or naprosyn (naproxen) (aleve) work well for cramps. Opioids do not.

The narcotics : Should do the trick. Take them as advised by your doctor. Otherwise, add tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin if okay with your doctor.
