Unlikely: By two weeks after the first injection of depo-provera, you will be protected. The failure rate with depo-provera is less than 2%. It is possible, but unlikely that you would conceive. A pregnancy test would be appropriate any time you wish.

Doubtful: If you received your depoprovera shot a month ago it should be working to provide birth control. While all birth control can fail, depoprovera is one of the most effective with a failure rate of about 1 in a 1000. If you are still concerned check a pregnancy test in 10-14 days to be sure. Keep getting your Depo-Provera shots every 12 weeks and use condoms to prevent stds that Depo-Provera won't protect against.
