A member asked:

Why pregnant woman have fever?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible infection: Unless the cause of the fever (the flu for instance) is obvious, when you are pregnant it is particularly important that you be checked and the cause of the fever identified if possible. While it is probably not serious, there are some very serious conditions which need to be ruled out.
