Infant stools: First thing is to make sure it is constipation. Infants stools are a cause of concern for many parents as they seem to always be changing! if a baby has been breastfed, and is having soft stools, he is not constipated even if he seems to be straining. Some breast fed infants have stools several times per day, others couple times per week. If stools are hard try 1 oz pear juice as needed.
