Infection or diabete: The definition of frequent urination varies , it means either going more often than you normally do, and going at night as well.It could be due to a bladder infection which causes irritation, or if you are diabetic , you may have high blood sugar, or simply your bladder has a small capacity and does not hold large amount of urine.

Urinary frequency: Urinary frequency is defined as more than 8 voids while awake. The first condition that needs to be excluded is infection, then diet and the amount of fluids ingested during the day. Overactivity of the bladder could be the culprit of all of the above are normal.
