A member asked:

Why are my feet in so much pain at the top?

Multiple causes: They include local causes like flat feet, arthritis, tendinitis and diseases of the muscles and ligaments. The feet can also be painful due to systemic diseaeses like diabetic neuropathy and nerve damage due to other reasons. Sometimes a pinched nerve can cause foot pain. See your pcp or a podiatrist who could help.

See a Podiatrist: Pain on top could be form neuorpathy, neuroma, sprains, pronation, supination, wearing bad shoes and many other reasons. I recommend you find a local podiatrist. Short term you could try ice, elevation or nsaid. Good luck.
