Maybe: I'd be more concerned that a lump on the thyroid and a weak voice could mean thyroid cancer. An ENT head and neck surgeon can evaluate the thyroid and check your voice box to see what's going on. A large goiter might affect the voice by pushing on the airway, but the chief symptom would be shortness of breath.
