Poor hygiene: Excess sweating. Eating highly seasoned foods like garlic, not bathing frequently, having skin infections, certain body secretions, incontinence - all of these can cause strong body odors.

Agree w Dr. Carlin.: There are also possible medical causes. Trimethylaminuria (TMAU), liver disease, renal disease & diabetes can cause body odor.
