Is it safe to ski while pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Early (<12wks), the baby is well protected by the pelvic bones should you take a fall while skiing. Later, when the uterus grows above the pelvis, a hard fall on your abdomen could cause injury and complications. Although skiing early in pregnancy carries little risk of fetal injury, consider that nausea and vomitting may be a problem, even with activities that don't usually cause that.
