Dr. Ashu Syal answered

Genetic disease: Huntington's disease is inherited in autosomal dominant pattern. Even though it is a genetic defect, initial symptoms almost never present themselves in new born period. Earliest presentation of symptoms is at 20-30 yrs of age. Tremors, loss of co-ordination, seizures, dementia are clinical symptoms. It's a progressive disease which is usually fatal within 10-30 yrs of initial presenting symptoms.
