Probably not: What you are describing sounds more like a physical dependence. It could be an addiction if you are doing this avoid responsibility or withdraw from reality. In general, these types of meds lose their effectiveness fairly fast. Depending on the dose, you may suffer withdrawal symptoms as severe as seizures if your dosage is high. You should discuss with your doc-maybe an addiction doc if indicated.
