Where?: Where is the bleeding you are concerned about? Small amount of fluid or blood can leak for 24 hours or less from a new surgical incision site. Change the gauze or bandage & observe. If there is bleeding from somewhere else, or bleeding that keeps soaking through gauze bandages even after they have been changed a few times, then call your surgeon.
