How long does contact dermatitis usually last?

One month: It can last 2-4 weeks or longer after the cause of the rash is removed and avoided. If the cause of the contact dermatitis is not removed then the reaction can persist as long as you're in contact with the offending agent.

Contact dermatitis: It varies but if you remove the inciting agent, then it should resolve with or without treatment within a week.
