Bronchitis...: Acute bronchitis can result in a cough which lasts for this duration. There can be associated bronchospasm which can cause the cough to increase even when the other symptoms are resolving. Chronic bronchitis, a form of copd, can also cause a long-lasting cough. See your doctor for diagnosis and treatment, especially if the cough is worsening.
