Depends on location: And severity. Contamination with bacteria or structural damage to tissues that should be repaired are other items to consider. Tetanus status, rabies, and infection control are all potential issues also. Even a little nip that breaks skin can become seriously infected, or it could heal uneventfully. Do you feel lucky? Do you want to take a chance? Is it your dog? Are shots all up to date?
