Common complaint: Cramping in the second trimester is an extremely common complaint. The stretching of the uterus, the surrounding ligaments, dehydration, a full bladder, gas pain and constipation can all cause cramping. Schedule a visit with your doctor to make sure you are not contracting and that your cervix is closed.
