Check if ovulating: After age 36 your fertility is decreased from when you were younger. Buy an over the counter ovulation kit and if it is negative for 3 cycles you should see your ob_gyn. As far as your other symptoms if they continue also see your physician.

See a Fertility MD: You need a blood pregnancy test. If you're not pregnant and are ttc for over a year at age 36 i recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist (rei) who can check you for low egg supply (diminished ovarian reserve), hormone problems, blocked tubes or uterine problems, and check your partner for sperm issues. After tests, fertility treatment can help you get prego sooner.
