In-between periods.: Inter-menstrual bleeding refers to vaginal bleeding in-between your periods, that is at unpredictable times and for unpredictable duration/severity. This may be due to fibroids, vaginal infections or pathology, cervical cancer/dysplasia/infections, or sexual trauma among others. See your gynecologist to evaluate this further as some of its causes are very serious (as you can see above).
