Help is needed ASAP: I think this is urgent enough that a person should call 911 or find someone nearby to take him to er. Driving in such an unstable state is not recommended. It is important that someone take the glucose monitor to the er so it can be checked and calibrated for accuracy. Hyperglycemia like this is something to be taken seriously; admission to treat it and to learn ways to prevent it may be needed.
