What's loopy intestine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Loopy bowels?: Loopy bowels or loopy intestines may be referring to the large intestine's appearance on a barium enema or during a colonoscopy. Some people say loopy if they see a longer intestine (colon) with more wiggly turns that the average colon has. If a person is told he has a loopy intestine, he should ask his doctor if the loopiness could be causing any symptoms, or it's just the way his colon looks.
