Hmmmm...: If you have been treated 4 times in 60 days for presumptive (or even proven) UTI and you still have symptoms... It is time to see a urologist to determine what is underlying the recurrent symptoms. Could be that you have a stone, an anatomic problem or even bladder cancer. This is especially true if you are a smoker.

See your gyn!!: If you have swelling of your belly and urinary symptoms, it is important to see your gyn and have an ultrasound as soon as possible, if not already done. There could be an enlargement of your uterus or even a growth that is partially blocking your bladder from emptying. A urine culture should be done before any further treatment with antibiotics.
