I am 92. my grandmother did not go into nursing home till 100. she was alert and socially active but osteoporosis made it difficult to walk. unusual?

No age : I wasn't aware there was an age we had to go into a nursing home! if you are healthy and strong and have the ability to care for yourself or have those who can help why a nursing home. My grandparents never went age 99 and 96.
