Blood Vessels Growth: Cavernous hemangiomas are a term used for infantile hemangiomas (ih, also called hemangiomas of infancy) that are localized deep in the skin. We currently prefer to use the term deep infantile hemangiomas. Infantile hemangiomas can also be superficial, or mixed (both superficial and deep).
