Radiation & pregnant: The risks of exposure to radiation during pregnancy depend on how far along you are and the amount of exposure the baby has. The earlier exposure and the greater amount of radiation can cause miscarriage or birth defects. You should discuss with your doctor if you think you might be pregnant and if not, discuss if becoming pregnant is advisable at this time.
