How long does it normally take to get pregnant?

Dr. Pam Yoder answered
Specializes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Fast for 25yo couple: If both partners are around 25 years old and healthy, conception can occur quickly. Chances of conceiving decrease with age. Adding on fertility or medical conditions makes it more difficult to conceive without assistance. However, the majority of couples having regular intercourse will have a pregnancy within one year. I will share with reproductive endocrinology subspecialists for more details.
