Does the dark vertical lines in my finger nails i had for years have anything to do with cholecystectomy i had 2 days back? nails looks healthy.

No: Longstanding gall bladder problems do not cause dark vertical lines in your fingernails. The dark vertical lines could be pigmentary (usually genetic, and would be present permanently) or from small areas of bleeding (usually grow out over time). I recommend having them evaluated by a dermatologist.
