Duphaston effects: Synthetic progestins can cause thickening and a barrier effect on cervical mucus and interfere with ovulation if taken before and during ovulation time in the cycle. If used only during the literal phase (after ovulation and before menstruation) then it can help women with ovulation problems, like pcos.
