GBS, Glucola: A 1 hour glucose tolerance test is done between 26-28 weeks to screen for gestational diabetes. A culture for group b streptococcus bacteria is done at 35-36 weeks. Urinalysis for protein and glucose are done at each visit, along with blood pressure checks. Fetal testing (non-stress testing) may be indicated, but is not necessary in low risk pregancies.

GBS: The most important test in the 3rd trimester is the group beta streptococcus (gbs) test. This is a swab at 35-36 weeks in the vagina to check for this bacteria. This bacteria is not a std, but rather a normal bacteria in the vagina. If + however, your baby could get infection if comes in contact. Typically, your doc has already done your re-test for anemia, and diabetes in the 24-28 week range.
