Diabetes neuropathy: Diabetic neuropathy is primarily a symmetrical sensory polyneuropathy, initially affecting the distal lower extremities. Earliest signs include: Loss of vibratory sensation and altered proprioception. Impairment of pain, light touch, and temperature. Hand tremors are not usually a sign of diabetes.
