Maybe: Suboxone will not show up on most standard opiate uds. Generally the screen has to be looking specifically for Buprenorphine for it to show up. My experiance with my patients and pre employment drug screens is they have not had issues if they are only taking suboxone.

It Depends: It depends on the test. For example, Suboxone does not show up on the standard five panel test like is used for the dept. Of transportation. A specific test looking for Suboxone is required for a positive result. So, it matters which test it is and who is administering it. In my office, i utilize a twelve panel test which will detect suboxone. Dot tests for morphine, opium, heroin and codeine.
