Some thoughts...: Sometimes with constipation, you can get something called "fecal impaction" where loose stool (diarrhea) goes around the impaction , but it's only because there's something blocking the passageway. This can give you some abdominal pain. But what you're describing can also be caused by infectious and inflammatory conditions, so make sure you get checked out, especially if going on for weeks!
