A member asked:

What's the role of a lawyer in preparing an advance directive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Legal completeness: An advance directive gives your family and your caregivers information about what you want done, and how much done during your final illness. There are template to be found on the internet, but an attorney can structure it to completely do what you want. It is one of the rare things that an attorney can do that is actually helpful to society.
