What are the most common types of headaches in women?

Migraine: Although the books say tension type headache is most common, migraine dominates my practice. Affects 17% of all women.

See below: Women present with a variety of ha's. Vascular or menstrual types are common at or around menses. Migraine type ha's are common, often beginning in teen years. Myofascial (muscle type) ha's are very frequent , often from trigger points in the muscles of the neck and shoulders. Stress and heavy breast tissue may increase strain on these muscles.
