Body development: Your body develops in its natural way, but people with gender identity disorder are very uncomfortable in the bodies they have. Many will say that from a young age, they felt they had the "wrong" gendered body. As secondary sexual characteristics develop, their misery grows. There is much depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and suicide in this population.
