Yes: Smoking is linked to many forms of cancer, regardless of whether one is taking bcps. Furthermore, there is a slight increased risk of breast cancer in women who use bcps. The combination of these two drugs is linked to higher rates of heart disease and blood clots.

Bad things: Smoking while on birth control pills can cause deep vein thrombosis-blood clots usually found in leg veins. These can break off and go to the lungs-pulmonary embolism-and be deadly. If you are concerned with cancer, i recommend you seek help with smoking cessation. Tobacco is responsible for many types of cancer and other terrible diseases.
