Do yourecharge the batteries in a pacemaker?

No: No . At least not with present day technology. It requires replacing the can (pulse generator) which holds the battery and the computer.

No: The batteries in a pacemaker are not rechargeable. Fortunately, they are extremely long lasting and can last 10 years or more. To change the battery, or generator, the credit card sized unit under the skin is detached from the leads, removed and a new unit placed under the skin and the leads reattached. A very simple and safe procedure.
