A doctor has provided 1 answer

Syringomyelia: Syringomyelia is a fluid-filled, gliosis-lined cavity within the spinal cord, which can be asymptomatic and found incidentally on spinal cord imaging. Some patients experience progressive central cord neurologic deficits that may include a prominent central pain syndrome with a segmental distribution.
