how long does it typically take for amphetamines to leave your system?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Mark Reynolds
32 years experience Psychiatry
9-14 x 5: The typical half-life of dextroamphetamine/amphetamine is 9-14 hours. We normally day 5 half lives to clear most of a drug. So if you are not a poor metabolizer at cyp2d6, we are talking 45 to 75 hours.
