A member asked:

What are the differences between knee sprian, ligament tear, and broken knee?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: A sprain is a stretch injury to a ligament. A tear is a separation of the ligaments fibers. A broken knee is when the bone is damaged and there is a separation between the ends or and internal disruption of the cells but not a separation of the ends ( a stress fracture.).
