Yes: A relatively recent study showed that some women have the potential for more that one ovulating periods in a given "cycle." it is not common. More likely is an alternative such as an infection or a polyp in the cervix or uterus or hormonal change. Generally these are benign and easily treated. Check with your doctor. An ultrasound may be appropriate. Pregnancy and ovulatory bleeds are possible.
