Treating Chlamydia: Yes, in the scenario you describe you had a sexual encounter when one or both of you were not fully treated. I often advise my patients that it takes at least 48 hours to be free of contagion after being treated for chlamydia or gonorrhea. I would also hope that your health care provider treated you for both...Which is the best approach to these two infections.
