How common is it to have a relapse of 4th nerve palsy?

Rare: Rare cases of migraine can cause double vision due to ophthalmoplegia. A virus can attack cranial nerves but usually facial (bells). There is a benign familial 4th nerve defect but not intermittent. Other causes can be serious and need a detailed MRI exam.
