Meth effects: Yes, one of the effects of meth can be temporary weight loss -- but not a healthy kind. It can cause muscle breakdown that leads to kidney damage or failure, delusions, hallucinations, sensations of skin crawling (formication), hypertension, stroke and death. It leads to drug craving. Drug-related psychosis can last for months after your last official use.
