Many reasons: Prevention of disease is easier to accomplish and better for your health compared with allowing disease to happen and then treating it. Why do we brush our teeth? We could just treat the ensuing cavities. Why do we drive safely? We could just drive recklessly and pay the consequences later. Preventing a heart attack is better than having open heart surgery. I trust you'll agree.

PREVENTION IS CHEAPE: It is very important brcause 1 it is cheaper in the long run 2 when practiced and followed by patients and public it is effective with proven results 3 it prevents morbidity and in long run mortality we have examples of effectiveness of immunization as it has eliminated diseases like small pox.Polio, and others from the face of this earth.
